Yoga is an ancient healing art.  It enjoys widespread popularity today because of its timeless objective - to unify the workings of the body and mind. 

People come to yoga for many  reasons:

  • to build physical strength, flexibility and stamina
  • as a response to injury or pain
  • to improve sleep and concentration
  • to find a moment of stillness in a busy life

Yoga practice gives us time and space to bring close attention to our physical movement, the flow of our breath and the activity of our minds.  As we learn to mindfully observe, understand and respect these aspects of our existence we find ourselves stronger in every sense.  

 

I am a fully qualified yoga instructor, teaching yoga classes in central Woking, Surrey.  I teach traditional Hatha yoga and a stronger Vinyasa flow yoga.  My focus is to bring yoga to people's lives in a way that is realistic, sustainable and, most importantly, enjoyable.  Classes are suitable for beginners and experienced students.
